With thirty five years of knowledge and experience and a reputation for satisfying individual high specification finish and designer detail, main contractors ’The French Group ’finished four weeks ahead of schedule completing the two very diverse contracts within sixteen weeks.

In the summer of 2009 Chris and Jeff Galvin appointed French as Main Contractor on the fit out of their prestigious new restaurant – La Chapelle and Café du Luxe in St Botolph’s, Spitalfields.

Built on three levels and located on the banks of the Thames, with its magnificent views, a stunning and individual restaurant has been created, with works being undertaken by the French, demonstrating their practical approach when faced with technical difficulties being both efficient and effective.

With the floor space equalling 10 St Pauls Cathedrals, the O2 Dome is host to various eating establishments but only one so spectacular as Nando’s, leading contractor French executed another breathtaking avant-garde project, again pushing up the bar for future assignments.

This project involved the complete strip-out and fit-out of a ground floor retail space and basement to create an original new shop and dessert bar for William & Suzue Curley. William has been awarded ‘Best British Chocolatier’ by the Academy of Chocolate for the last three years running.
